Hello! Molly Ovenden here.

Welcome to this week’s invitation to peace: you’re here as a paid subscriber to this journaling membership.

Thank you so much for your investment in my work. Thank you so much for your commitment to get closer to God with journaling. It is humbling that you are here and your presence is not something I take for granted. I create intentionally with you in mind.

On the second Sunday of each month, you’ll receive a prompt to reflect on with gratitude as well as a practice for growth to bring into your relationship with God as you process in your journal.

While you retain access to past prompts, I highly encourage you to be imperfectly present on the page today…this week…otherwise, what could be a peaceful practice of journaling to get closer to God can turn into a stressful requirement without relationship or joy.

Visual Description: This photo I, Molly, took of a stone wall with green and grey mossy and a rusty, curled iron gate I saw from one of my walks near my home in Yorkshire, England.

Beauty is an arrow of Hope.

I’m so glad you’re here. Keeping your word to yourself is one of the most peaceful practices. That’s why I’m here with you.

I often say that Beauty is an arrow of Hope that points to Jesus, to the Prince of Peace.

There is so much beauty in the process of journaling in order to notice where God might be in our daily, mundane lives.

This week, I want to offer you a journaling prompt for gratitude and a slightly longer growth practice to dig into.
