Day 97 - December 28th - a special invitation to peace

Scripture:

Colossians 4:17 And say to Archippus, “Be sure to carry out the ministry the Lord gave you.”

Prayer:

Thank you, God, for the people who know the calling you’ve put on their lives. I pray specifically for [NAME]. Help me to encourage and remind them to carry out the ministry that the LORD gave them. God, I pray for clarity and courage to take up and live out the calling you’ve given me, too. Thank you for your faithfulness. Please strengthen my faith and the faith of [NAME], too.

Invitation:

I want to invite you to spend a moment simply noticing anything else that is on your heart–especially if it’s something from today’s reading and time of prayer. Lift this up to God in faith.

Gratitude:

In closing, pause to thank God for how he’s at work in your heart and life. Acknowledge his presence with you during your time of prayer today.

In Jesus’ name. Let it be so. Thank you, LORD. Amen.
